Private Flying over Commercial

Private Flying over CommercialThis weekend was another great examole of why private flying will continue to grow.  Shared flights companies are improving their offering to upper middle vlass families.  A family of 4 could fly to a continental destination for $10K to $15K.  Much more expensive than commercial (let's say $4K to $6K).  BUT much more reliable.  Of course business jets were also grounded during the storm.  However:
- communications with their customers was infinitely better
- reliable info (very important with kids)
- more flexibility to reschedule flights
- no lost luggage
- minimal incidental costs (hotels, meals, taxis)
- no or minimal reliance on airport staff (onboarding, offboarding, security, etc...)

this industry will continue to adapt and offer alternatives to the mayhem and mess that commercial flying has become.

and of course, the BBD order book will benefit from this shift.
