I been waiting have from the day YFI made this tweet for someone on this forum to make mention of it. I thought that we would have previously heard something from a noted group here who continually boast of their knowledge of such subjects but, apparently it either escaped their attention or they decided to ignore it because it did not support their narrative. Now that LGRN showed the initiative to post it, it will be interesting to note the content of any comments.

 			Wi-Fi’s dirty little secret… Industry experts state 90% of customers… are limited to 20 or 40 MHz wide channels… Contention and interference limit performance for ALL devices with legacy Wi-Fi architectures.
 			
 			1. Lets first ask oneself who these "industry experts" are, and whether they deserve to be qualified as such.
 			
 			2. Is there any truth to the statement that it is a secret, and if so for how long, and held by who? Why is YFI alluding to it as "dirty?" How long has YFI known about it, and if true why are they the first to disclose it?
 			
 			To begin this discussion I think it is only fair to ask whether leo can answer any of these questions. Leo, is on record as being the lead self appointed Wi-Fi expert on this forum, and therefore it is only natural that we come to him first.
 			In addition, this give leo a fair opportunity to set the record straight should he not agree with what these industry experts are saying.
