RE:Experienced venture capitalists?555rookie555,
It is unclear what you mean by "been involved since 2017", but
X2 return over 5 years on Venture-type investment seems, to me, really poor return on a risks/rewards basis. I understand that risk tolerance may be comforted by taking-out original investment and letting the rest remain invested as "free money", but even if "gained into your account on paper" it is your money. Question: Would this be based on hope or an assessed good investment for you looking forward?
Lots of elements to consider:
- Your target Sell point(s)/strategies on your original investment day(s) ?
- Alternative Investment plans/opportunities on or around disposal date ?
- Current stage of development of the company
- Your perceptions and associated strategy for year 2023 economic activity environment ?
- Your portfolio mix balance ?
- This particular Sector performance trend
- Personal Risk/Reward expectations on your Venture-Capital-Quality-type opportunities?
Peace,
Good Decision-making to All,
