Lack of insider participation

Lack of insider participationI have been a CPG shareholder thru thick and thin over many years. What always strikes me as a red flag is the lack of insider participation. Based on the current balance sheet condition, production numbers, hedge book and relatively low stock price,  it appears that the Company is in the best situation it has been in a long time. Why is it that officers and directors do not buy CPG stock? ( last insider purchase 11 months ago, other than exercise of options) . Is it that they consistantly receive so many options, perf shares, etc or are they too poor to invest their own money in the Company?  Do they know something about the prospects that we dont? I have been happy with the way the company has been managed in recent times. The shareholder return program has been measured and while I beleive caution is good, I would like to see a larger % of FCF allocated to dividends going forward. Perhaps a variable type dividend, like a Trust..
