RE:Relatively New to Kelt

RE:Relatively New to Kelt
What i like in Kelt
Wilson his track record, buying not selling...wish his team was as devoted...which is also why i dislike buybacks in certain companies

Minimal debt...hedging flexabilty vs bank dictate, blended commodity pricing

Montney play, several exploration initiatives

Proving reserves is ok if you can trigger a sale on your timing vs forced sales...reserves and price decks are not always in sync to monetise assets. Evaluating a company on the basis of land held, well land expires, every pool has variances so allocating x dollars per Ha is problematic

My biggest issue is stranded assets that smaller fish prove and big fish get during depressed pricing cycles..or relying upon third party infrastructure owned by your competitor and hoping they buy your assets at a premium
