Talapoosa consists of 509 unpatented lode mining claims owned by the Company, 26 leased unpatented lode mining claims, six additional leased fee land sections and a portion of one additional fee land section owned by one of its United States subsidiaries. The total land package for the property is contiguous and covers over 6,018 hectares (14,870 acres). Its El Escorpion property is located 85 kilometers southeast of Guatemala City, Guatemala. El Escorpion is situated seven kilometers southwest of Pan American Silver Corp.’s Escobal silver deposit. The Escobal land package surrounds El Escorpion.
