RE:Exclusive: Electricity constraints force Canada's first LNGThank you, that's probably why the LNG Canada consortium hasn't announced FID for Phase 2 . . . while they have permits for gas powered turbines to compress and freeze the natural gas, local support for conversion to electric compression of the gas is waiting on power lines, I assume from BC's new Site C Dam.
Directly impacts BC & Alberta natural gas prodyucers like TOU, albeit long term, need to first get Phase 1 commissioned and ramped up!
