It is a significant sponsor of two real estate investment trusts (REITs): Morguard REIT, a closed-end Trust with a diversified portfolio of Canadian commercial real estate assets; and Morguard North American Residential REIT, an open-end Trust with a diversified portfolio of multi-suite residential assets across North America.

You hit the Nail on the Head!!! They are better off nibbling at this and giving the shorts a clear signal to close thier positions gradually before they gobble the works at a GIANT discount to book value.

Sad to have to wait, but thats the nature of the game.
