RE:RE:RE:Excellent results...lifegoeson, I have been doing research for years. I think both Pilar and Picachio are interesting projects with good potential. The nearest operating mine, San Francisco lost over $13million over the first three quarters of 2022. As far as I can tell it never was a big money maker. They were producing ore with a grade of over 0.5g/t Au. So, basing Picacho on the economics of San Francisco is not the best idea. The 0.26g/t Au stockpile is waste until there is a significant spike in gold price. As far as I can tell SF was never a big money maker. Heradura, Noche Buena, Chanate are on this trend and were great money makers. This is what I hope Tocvan find.
Picacho is an early-stage exploration project on a property with old mine workings. Historically the grades would likely have been much higher for the miners of the time to exploit mineralized structures. I hope to see some really good high-grade intercepts.
In the last NR Tocvan had some good intercepts, they screwed up by trying to represent a very good narrow high grade interecept as low grade over a large interval. Most of the interval that they averaged over had no economic grade whatsoever. This really detracts from what should be very good news!
Lifegoeson, don´t try to imply motivation to discredit someone who holds a different perspective. Yes, I am pragmatic and possibly OCD, but no expert. I could say that you might be a day trader looking to pump and dump the stock. Would that be a correct assumption? I expect you are just an enthusiastic investor who likes the Tocvan storey.
I suggest people look at Mickey Fulp. He was a good source of information on junior resource stocks. I learned a lot from his presentations.
Read the technical reports with a critical eye. They are not too hard to figure out, if something sounds stupid, it usually is. GLTA.
