Noranda Income Fund Unit NNDIF

Noranda Income Fund is a Canadian based income trust. The fund owns the electrolytic zinc processing facility and ancillary assets located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec. It produces refined zinc metal and by-products from sourced zinc concentrates. The fund's long-term objective is to maximize unitholder value and provide monthly distributions to unitholders.

RE:Vote calculation

RE:Vote calculationI interpreted the PR to mean that, we just need a simple majority, or 50% of the non- Glencore unit holders who actually vote.  Not 50% of the outstanding non Glencore shares.  Anyone else have a different view?

It states in the press release, "(ii) a simple majority of the votes cast by holders of the fund's priority units and special fund units after excluding votes from certain unitholders, including Glencore."

It is less important but in the PR regarding the purchase it states, "Unitholders as at the close of business on Jan. 9, 2023, will be entitled to vote at the meeting."   I interpret that to mean you could still vote even if you sold your shares after that date. Kind of like ex-dividend dates.
