I consider something like this to be totally meaningless.

Even if Cynthia is knee-deep in negotiations with a purchaser, do you think she would mention or even hint at that?

She has to convey a "business as usual" message.

For one thing, in her position, there are all sorts of OSC issues regarding what she publicly says.

In addition, from a negotiation perspective, you dont want to convey to any potential buyer that you are wedded to making a deal. You make your best deal when you dont need to!

I think what Rogers posts is more indicative of what is going on. He is not an officer or Director, so I think he is less constrained in terms of what he communicates.

To me, it is clear that their focus is making the company attractive enough to the potential buyer so that they can get the price they want.

When that happens, there will be a deal.
