Munger says to ban Crypto in Op-Ed

Munger says to ban Crypto in Op-Ed

Munger

That would probably not be good for our business.  I don't know if he's right or wrong, but the business is fun and this is a good way into it I think on the cheap.  But if he right, there may be too many profiteers to ever ban it.  His partner Buffett rightly argued for taxing top earners more.  But through deflection of social issues, refrmaing the argument, etc., all obstructionists hoodwinked enough of the public to vote against themselves.

So, IFFF he is right, I imagine the people can always be counted on to rule against themselves. After all, casinos are legal and becoming more legal in states that previously banned them.  People absolutely love to vote against themselves.

On the other hand, if he's wrong and it's not rat poison, then the public would be for that too.   Not sure the political will is there rightly or wrongly.
