RE:Fed Prediction

RE:Fed PredictionVery reasonable argument psyco01! However, I think from the Feds view and mine if they don't raise and still talk tough they will lose all credibility! In addition if they don't raise they are signalling that things are even worse than we think which ironically could cause the problem to get worse. By raising and acting like nothing is wrong would help banking system confidence. This all predicates of course on the banks bond losses being able to handle another hike without unravelling further. I am guessing with all the liquidity the FED is offering they should be okay, at least for now. In addition if the banks are already expecting and positioned for this hike, not doing it could ironically lead to more losses on rescent positions. lol.  Just my opinion. And long winded way of saying they likely hike tomorrow! Good luck to all.
