using obscure1's antic, 'is that all you got'?

i can change brake pads myself, it's an easy wrench task. Brake pads are cheap.
On the other hand, EVs wears out tires much faster (if you don't know why, go ask your mechanic friends or google search). A set of new tires plus installation and balancing cost way way more than a set of brake pads which i can replace myself. Not many people have a tire changer and balancing machine at home to save labor cost for tire change.
