IRON COPPER -

IRON COPPER -

web search -
XRF can only measure the top few hundred microns of the sample.
For main metals, such as iron or copper, it measures less than a hundred microns into the sample.
Dec 22, 2016

If out in the field - would the xrf detect a copper
bond with iron ? How many ores have ( red oxide / iron oxide )
and... if in an area of know copper with irons - the xrf would most
likely pick up on the - iron - over the copper. especially if the iron
grades are more pronounced than the copper.

Most iron in copper depoists run a good - 5-7% or more.
I would say... .xrf would would favor the - iron.
Overlook the copper with 0.5% grade...
if mixed in the irons - as a red oxide.
Knowing this... should keep every geo up at - night.
questioning all the - red tills, or rocks they've ever come across.
did they miss - hidden copper ?
Copper iron sulfide (CuFeS2)
Bornite - Cu5FeS4
Chalcopyrite - CuFeS2

This eve... i scanned areas north of, St George.

Lots of pinks - Mg, Ca, Co, potentials...
Hard to tel lwhat the pinks would offer up.

But.. there are areas loaded with - reds.
Iron.

Which had me wondering - could there be more copper
and gold in the irons - uo in these parts ?
Vs - alkai gold and copper lower B.C. ?

To put into perspective -
i read of another junior who was interested in the - chromite
only saught out the - ferro chromite.
Scanned the claims... and i couldn't help but think...
Why would they not also seek - carbonate minerals ?

Which brings this subject round to -
carbonate copper ( most never think this -
solid solution copper - green blue silica crystal

I'm a huge fan of juniors - using smaller drill equipt
which this junior does - practice.

- less costs
- easier to move equipt
- quicker results
- in and out and onto the next drill hole.

All good....
but... exploring for copper - can be a real bugger...
it's either high grade intercepts - that moves the - stock.
                                       or
middle of the road grades that barely moves the - stock
and dusters that keep the junior in the pits.

Having a willing crew to explore and... drill....
is half the battle. Better than, suits in office who
try to explore...lol

What wins the game -
Is finding the - high grade - during the explore.
achieve this.. .the drills will do the rest.
Playting in the silts... well... need i say more.

I would do a revamp on the claims...
drop a few and find a few more.

I would - run from the silts...
Seek out surface mineralization
YEAR ROUND - LOWER B.C.

knowing - sm equipt could access diff places
knowing - grades would be at surface to depth.
That\s what moves a stock.

I would change the format of, royalty generator.
And... upon new discovery - keep it.
Investors interest woud drive the stock -
allowing junior to - keep driling -

Upon depoist find, measured...
then.... crack a deal and sell.

Testing soils with a few drills...
then jv-ing. or selling
creates a loss not only for junior but for shareholders.
Such - affects the stock - where junior rinses and repeats.
Small gain with capital... but, sp could offer more for junior
to raise capital.

Royalties work great for - companies funding miners
actually seeking a percentage take on the gold mined ( ex )

I woiuld think.... PLACER GOLD.
Or... finding a depoist at surface - would assist this junior.

There are - many - till deposits - in B.C.
Surely -- there's still one that has slipped the eyes of other
explorers.

Lastly - i've always been a huge fan of - charability surveys.
Used correctly... they'll find the battery metals.

Yet... when i see such a strong charge - purple pink...
And.. seeing junior drill the greens or fringe red...
avoiding the - middle zone... then, jv the claim -
i shook my head..

Thinking - what sort of gold grades could they've achieved
had they hit the - center target on - mark.
gold presence well outside in greens = broad gold system
as one edges closer to the - center mark - purple pink zone
gold grades = increase. But... no drills seen the center.

I have the impression -
this region has been ( assigned ) to a few juniors...
Go find the copper.

I wonder if - Price George area offers - grants ?
Exploration / Drilling.

Open thoughts....
Something to think about when seeing - red oxides.
Could copper be hidden in the mix ?
Has the XRF missed lots of red oxide copper only picking
up on the iron grades since they were more prodominant ?
I know i would second guess the - red oxide ores...

Now.... think...
How many red oxide ( till depoists are there ) in this region with
in a good - 400 mile radius ? With roads nearby.
Soft red tills... not Mg. Ca, pinks,
Rather.... deep dark red... iron copper red.

Cheers....
