North American Financial 15 Split Corp. is a Canada-based mutual fund corporation, which invests in a portfolio of over 15 financial services companies. It offers two types of shares, such as Preferred Shares and Class A Shares. Its investment objectives with respect to preferred shares are to provide holders of preferred shares with cumulative preferential monthly cash dividends in the amount of over 5.5% annually and to pay the holders of the preferred shares a certain price per preferred share on or about the termination date. Its investment objectives with respect to class A shares are to provide holders of class A shares with regular monthly cash distributions and to permit holders to participate in all growth in the net asset value of the Company for a specific price per unit, by paying holders on or about the termination date such amounts as remain in the Company after paying a specific price per preferred share. RE:RE:RE:NAV April 28Too soon. Much more likely to go down 20% rather than up 20% or more in the coming months.

Also remember there is the risk of consolidation. Look at what happened to that pos FTN. It used to trade at 13 bucks when commons were paying. Than it dropped down to the low 3's in the aftermath of the pandemic. Next the fund did a reverse 2:1 split which means the 9 dollars it trades around today is really 4.5 It was only very briefly under that post covid so most holders are underwater today.

I sold LCS to buy FTN back then and while I didn't lose any money I missed out by choosing to invest in what was the lowest priced split fund as FFN is today. Just keep that in mind.
