Dundee Corporation's shares in Almonty are a holdover from when they were helping to finance Woulfe Mining and owned a significant percent of the company. So it's true Dundee never invested a cent in Almonty, but they did invest in Sangdong.
I think there was some back and forth and exchange of shares and debentures between Almonty and Dundee when Almonty starting buying Woulfe but I don't recall the details and at this point it probably doesn't matter.
Almonty inherited Dundee, never seemed to work with them on financings, either didn't want to or didn't need to, and now Dundee is likely gone for good.
