The asset is sold for next to nothing to friends, the retail investors get their slice of nothing, & then the friends  sell it for the real market price. I was a holder in the Balmoral fiasco, worth billions, when they sold an asset to an unknown named Wallbridge for a pickup truck & shovel. Then Wallbridge digs up surface gold, & buys Balmoral for pennies. Should have never happened, but welcome to junior mining. You never know when your CEO owes a debt to a friend that gets paid by making a raw deal. There is a reason most junior miners are on Pender, so they can take care of each other's personal interests face to face.
