If you did I think you would realize that at least 90% of junior explorers have "lost millions" in market cap over the last two years. These are all highly speculative plays.
You mentioned the word "investors" which leads me to think you are holding these as long term, as in buy and hold. One can sell some shares high and rebuy the same number lower and manage to be in long term while helping to migate losses on the decline, but that still involves speculative trading which can be a losing battle. Depending on the market timing and sentiment an 80% downturn can and do happen with these types of mineral exploration stocks. It's not just David Brett's stocks.
You mentioned Brett's salary at Engold being too high, and that is your call to make and I won't argue it. The CEO's salary is something every investor has to make their own call on.
I am here because I think the Pac Bay's projects have merit and I think the hiring of their new CEO geologist was a good move.
