Yeah, we're certainly spending a lot of tax payers dollars to have no meaning on the final result.
I am old enough to remember how happy everybody was in saving the forest by the stopping of using paper grocery bags and going to plastic. Now we stop using plastic and go back to paper manufactured in China using the raw logs we send over there. Meanwhile we stop a ton of logging and let the forests burn down instead. And Schumer and AOC both jump all over it as being caused by "climate change" so to endorse their Green New Deal as being the only answer.
A whole lot of confidence that we know what we are doing and don't do anything without deep thought.

As a side note I see the Kilauea volcano is erupting again and putting on quite a show. All emissions covered by carbon offsets no doubt!! Of course the scientists know that volcanic eruptions do not add to climate change because they are not human made.
