I would partially agree with you. Peller is the biggest CANADIAN owned private winery and distribution company. Constellation Brands, while American, also is a professionally run winery with Canadian assets.
Yes Andrew Peller Wines could be sold for a premium to an American or International player, but since the Peller family controls the company through their Class B voting shares, it won't happen until they decide it is in their best interest to do so. So while saying it has greater value than is shown in the SP is true, it is wishful thinking to bank on that as a way to gain value in the equity.
