I would not expect the CEO to buy a bunch of Peller stock.  Imagine if you were the new CEO of an unprofitable winery where this generation of the family loaded it up to the eyeballs in debt

More insider buying. Board of Directors and CEO all have made purchases recently.

25,000 shares by the Chairman of the board. I view this as a positive combined with daily company buybacks via NCIB.

I have never seen the beverage industry with a 16% increase in compensation during a CEO "transition" except for the "Peller Plunder".   Do you have any examples

i believe the increase is more attributable to the fact that outgoing CEO& inbound CEO have overlapping periods as is usual in most transitions in the suite.

I did some research and it looks like revenue recognition for LCBO is when they receive it and for retailers it is when it is sold to the consumer.

Too early to see effects of new CEO but moving forward, though slowly.  Still cannot understand how Port Moody asset held for resale is still included in operating capital assets.

Overall, positive in my opinion. Sales up, gross margin up, inventory down, long term debt down, market share gains, share buybacks. Note: This is irregular quarter with benefit of LCBO strike
