Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

RE:RE:I think a lot of people don't even get it....At it's very simplest you have to consider the amout of ICE vehicles on the road today, how many are still being sold and how long does it take before they are off of the road. No end it sight IMO.
 The other major thing is really simple. Population growth of 200,000 people per day. Every day. Think about that, let it sink in that all these people need food, water, power, fuel, clothes, everything and it all takes energy. Oil will be around until we run out of it.
 I actually believe the switching away from fossil fuels is simply looking into the future 50 years or more from now and knowing that oil is a finite product that someday we will have to deal with a new energy and so the switch begins now.
