CANADA's FIRST HYDROGEN TRAINSHave you bought into the ev battery transportation ?
Has ev markets become a failed launch ?
Are you invested in several battery metals
hoping at least one will succeed ?
When one thinks about it, they'll arrive at the answer
it takes a good 4 ev battery metals to manufacture a battery.
EV battery (NMC532) 17 pounds of lithium carbonate
30 pounds of cobalt
44 pounds of manganese
77 pounds of nickel Then.... rely on another producer of electricity to propel
the ev car...
4 mines
Electricity producer
Doesn't quite compare to the simplicity of,
HYDROGEN
Quebec's Hydrogen Train The first hydrogen-powered train in North America is taking riders on a two-and-a-half hour trip through central Quebec this summer.
It's a demonstration that launched earlier this month to show how electricity stored as hydrogen can replace diesel fuel on railways where installing electrified rails or overhead wires would be challenging.
Advocates for the use of hydrogen in heavy transportation say it could raise awareness and boost confidence in the emerging technology in North America.

Alberta's Hydrogen Train For CP Rail, the hydrogen locomotive completed its first "revenue trip" a few months ago with the expectation to have the trains operating in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary by the end of 2023. The next step will be testing out the technology through the Rocky Mountains.
"It's a perfect test bed. If you can operate there: heavy haul, cold temperatures, the most challenging operational conditions I've ever experienced in my career. And if it works there, it will work everywhere," CP's chief executive, Keith Creel, said during a speech at the RailTrends 2022 conference in November.
