The Company's aircraft certified hardware products include Automated Flight Information Reporting System (AFIRS), AFIRS Edge, Tropospheric Airborne Meteorological Data Reporting (TAMDAR) and FLYHT-WVSS-II. AFIRS is an aircraft satcom/interface device, which enables cockpit voice communications, real-time aircraft state analysis, and the transmission of aircraft data while inflight. The AFIRS Edge is a 5G wireless quick access recorder (WQAR), aircraft interface device (AID), and aircraft condition and monitoring system (ACMS). TAMDAR system is a sensor device installed on aircraft that captures temperature, atmospheric pressure, winds aloft, icing, turbulence, and relative humidity. FLYHT-WVSS-II is an externally mounted aircraft sensor that detects and reports water vapor as relative humidity. The Company's wholly owned subsidiary, CrossConsense, offers skilled services to the commercial aviation industry.

While the C-W entry is competition to FLYHT's proven ability to stream voice and cockpit data along with FDR data in real time via satellite, this is only one thing FLYHT offers. And FLYHT has moved away from this business aspect for now. 

They are onto Actionable Intelligence for fleet management (includes working towards Net Zero Emissions by 2050), 5G connectivity (the Edge), a 5G WQAR (a 5-minute replacement upgrade for non-5G Teledyne WQARs), developing "secure wireless avionics software and onboard data loading solution" with MBS, installing weather sensors in aircraft for airline use and providing weather data to MET offices. They also offer MRO services through a subsidiary. Whatever else FLYHT may be up to or is planning, I don't know. AFIRS SatCOM is still a money-maker, too.


I don't think streaming FDR data is even mentioned in the latest investor presentation.
