Does Namibia have the secret ingredient for great fraking?

Does Namibia have the secret ingredient for great fraking?

Years ago I lived in Michigan during the "Sand Wars" where there even were gun fights between sand miners and environmentalists to stop the then massive mining of sand. This was shocking to many why folks would fight over such a common substance.

At the time in the ensuing court battles the miners claimed "national security" why they needed the sand. General Motors claimed it was critical for their production while Ford said not.

Well in the end it was found out this certain type of sand was the critical ingredient for successful and profitable oil fraking and highly sought after.

The interesting thing is that Namibia has plenty of sand that could make fracking a possibility with some oil found and Mr. Steinberger'd wizardry in extracting profitable oil from otherwise unprofitable sources.

So another great question is whether Namibian sand is the right quality for an ingredient in Mr. Steinberger's magical oil extraction techniques?
