Spirit Aero drops 7% as it lowers 737 delivery forecast

** Shares of Spirit Aerosystems SPR.N fall ~7% to $29.42 after co lowers 737 delivery prediction due to employee strike

** Spirit will deliver 370-390 narrowbody 737 fuselages to Boeing in 2023, down from the 390-420 fuselages expected last quarter, due to a pause in production from June 22 to July 5

** Co reports $21.6 million in unfavorable catch up adjustments related to the 737, reflecting higher labor and supply chain costs

** Spirit reports quarterly adjusted loss of $1.39 per share, bigger than analysts' expectations for a loss of 87 cents per share, as per Refinitiv data

** YTD the stock is up ~1%
