RE:RE:RE:just my considerationsSome here are comparing the boe/d numbers and concluding that PIPE shareholders got screwed. All boe/d are not equal. WCS oil is up 30% so far this year and heading higher while natural gas is down 40%. Natural gas is down 70% compared to last August.
The natural gas market in Canada could be soft for the next 18 months until LNG Canada gets going. The reverse take over that allows PIPE's long term majority shareholders to get out of this situation and into a much better and less volatile situation makes sense. Riverstone, GMT, BMO Capital Markets and Raymond James all agree that this is a fair deal and in the best interest of Pipestone's shareholders. Are they all in on some sort of conspiracy to fleece small PIPE investors? I don't think so.
I am willing to follow the expert's opinions over the basher's opinions. The bashers know nothing useful about Strathcona, the cash flow per share they will be generating after this deal closes or anything else about this deal. I agree that patience will be rewarded.
