Manipulation It's a pretty common conclusion people always jump too when a stock doesn't trade the way they think it should. I see accusations on so many stocks of market manipulation on a day to day basis in many sectors and names, and the moment I see that I think "Flat Earther" and their messages have no more meaning and can be ignored.
It's now not uncommon for a stock to move because of a big player/s but manipulation isn't the case, the people or funds are jumping in, jumping out, changing allocations ect, it's basic market flow and it can be irrational.
We did have great earnings, and it is odd that we dropped after it, but it's more likely people are exiting because they see better opportunities else where. We are tied to a commodity, and odds that the gold price will move 25%+ is extreamly unlikely and the company preformance upside is somewhat capped in what they can produce with the infrastructure, tho it is true the company could take a huge swing in momentum. But there are also tons of opportunities elsewhere especially outside of commodities where many stocks are un-capped in thier abilites to grow like in tech.
The only times I have noticed true manipulation is the oil market and the US Government releasing their stock pile to lower the price of oil and therefore gasoline, and they told us before hand they were doing it and the recent 'Meme' stocks, I'm sure others can point out other cases that are VERIFIABLE, but it's not often the case at all...
If your spending your time in the market thinking everything is manipulated then why are you putting your hard earned money at risk? Obviously, what you yourself feel about the market dynamics and rational market movement is meaningless therefor your really just gambling and hoping 'Manipulators' don't hurt you and your only recourse is to cry on a social forum.
