RE:RE:This just got VERY complicated.....I agree with most of what you say except for maybe this last part......which is unknown & up for grabs.
"This stock is going to $0.50. And no bank in their right mind will finance the CAPEX for this mine."
While this "potential" outcome, one of many possibilities btw, has a high degree of becoming a reality, sometimes what we see on the surface isn't exactly what is bubbling underneath or playing out behind the scenes by the main actors, as is the case in many blockbuster Hollywood movies where some of them have several or alternative "surprise" endings.
Imho, it ALL depends how the French & the US decide to handle it. Then, after it is decided on how from those two and how it is communicated to the level below....it all depends on HOW the united Afrikan nations, meaning Nigeria & it's bumbling allies which usually deal with these "sticky" situations, decide to interpret, react & carry out that communication from above.
As you can see, this is very onion layered, smelly & complicated .....AND then because of the delicate nature of the world we live in NOW .....just added bonus or cherry ontop and the perception of social justice AND millions of potential "Hands up don't shoot" George Floyds going down in a hail of bullets to reinstall French authority. And with the massive immigration issues the French have at home with Africans, what do you think will happen then?
Like i said, it's a "you know what" Storm and a big huge dumpster fire for both the French AND the USA of A.......and they have only themsleves to blame for their problems.
My prediction.....This gets resolved like the previous coups in the past without military intervention from either the Nigerian consortium or The French or Americans. As was the case with Mali and Burkina (i think). So everyone goes their seperate ways and business as usual. If so, The French will be the big losers & will be booted out, along with the Americans, as they were in those other places. And will have to go back home with their tails tucked between their scrawny legs & nothing to show for, having lost their prized jewel & cash cow for their uranium needs. I hear Target has a super big liquidation sale for Hide & Tuck underwear. Someone calll the French & tell them......
