Patents

PatentsI think its generally agreed IPs have value, but patent holders (AXE) needs to begin producting revenues for its patents to reach proper valuation.

Unfortunately Lots of infringements in the patch.

So many entities with similar/same problems needing a similar/same solution, facing short timelines and rising risk.  Crossing paths either without innocently checking IPs or down right stealing (IMHO).

I remember back in 2018ish, MEG was sued for alleged patent infringement over a patent re (of all things) infill producing well in a SAGD formation.  MEG asked for a settlement of some form to settle out of court.  Patent holder asked for $1 Billion jelly beans. And MEG said of course **no, so there was court challenge in 2019ish to figure out how much sushi or a settlement or a license agreement.

I 'll have to dig again later but Packers Plus (and its distruptive tech ) also sued multiple oil services companies for patent infringement.   This one example case might ring closer to AXE's disruptive CTI RFXL tech.
