RE:RE:RE:RE:NAV August 22

RE:RE:RE:RE:NAV August 22I forgot to answer your second question. One of the best investments offering great returns and very low risk are the split preferred shares.

Best of all in my opinion, is FFN.PR.A, which is offering an 8% yield and the option to redeem the shares in December 2024 for $10.00 per share. The shares are trading for $9.73, so you can make a capital gain of $0 27 per share upon redemption in addition to the 8% yield.

The total return is equal to just over 10% annualized for an extremely low-risk investment. I own a boatload of shares myself.

Do you think $4.77 was the lowest
point DFN will drop?  I was just thinking
of the downside risk of financials and insurers, in the next couple months.  As you know we have to wait until September to possibly see distributions return.  Personally, I think October or November could see upside in DFN 15 stock values and Disteibutions.
A high rate environment could be challenging for
these sectors.
What  to invest in for good returns and low
risk
