Artis Real Estate Investment Trust is an unincorporated closed-end REIT based in Canada. Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

SANDPIPER Depending on what they're portfolio looks like if they're overweight REITS they probably are In the hole rather significantly, nevermind artis alone almost 100m. Artis is the only reit they have direct influence over and as such its reasonable to expect they sacrifice running the reit forever to getting out their cash a lot higher than market price and using the opportunity cost to go after other depressed names. All they need is 40% upside in artis then 40% upside in reit sector to pad their gains rather than bet artis will go up 2 to 2.5x in next few years
