Reality

RealityFrankie et al love the NCIB firing and retiring the preferred at a big discount as well.....however, lets take a step back, the realized/unrealized losses in public securities is likely around 75m, Cominar equity...100m maybe worthless.  Now these NCIBs adding back "50m" or so accretitive throughout an entire year, not good enough to the money that was drained.   

The only solution here is to go big on this peak bearishness.

SIB the common units, SIB the preferreds- spend 500m, and fund it through mass asset sales, get it at ~30% discount.  

Here's real context: DREAM OFFICE has retired 60 MILLION shares this past decade only to have shareprice hit generational lows!
