RE:RE:RE:What’s with this low 30’s trading range?
I guess I have a different way of looking at it....
If there is sufficient liquid demand for the stock of Gatekeeper, than why is the share price able to drop like that?
Share price is nothing more than supply and demand auction. Right now, the demand and supply are balancing out in the low .3 CDN range.....It really means nothing, because somebody will come and buy if that price is too low. It could even be me moving the price up.
I cannot comment on short term investing(window less than 2 years), as I do not believe in it, nor do I participate in that type of investing as a rule.
Long-term however, .3 CDN will be left in the dust if the company's earning grow at a nice clip, with regularity, while the debt and share count both do not go up. I can assure you that no amount of meddling can stop that share price from rising when enough people want to buy a piece of the company.
I still do not see it as a smart venture, as it is completely illegal for anybody to manipulate share prices intentionally(except the market makers it would seem). Someone would have to hold several percentage points of the company's shares to do that, which means they are not little fish, so they have a lot at risk.
My personal take, if prices are in fact being manipulated lower, is to scare buyers away so bigger fish can continue to accumulate shares.... But while this is entirely possible what is going on, once again, strong regular earnings growth will propel the share price no matter what, should it happen.
I am betting on it happening,
Cheers!
