AFIRS Vs SITA's wireless gatelink

AFIRS Vs SITA's wireless gatelinkIs anyone familiar with the wireless gatelink product from SITA? I was wondering how the two differentiate? Obviously the method is different, WiFi Vs mobile network. Does 5G have an edge over WiFi? 

Also, I suppose they differ in terms of the type of data they transmit? 

If anyone has looked into this already, appreciate the insights. Otherwise I'll try dig deeper myself.
