RE:Needs a higher cobalt %
Actually, adding more cobalt is not the solution. Rather removing it is. LFP batteries are much safer than Lithium-Ion with Cobalt, and now even have 10 minute recharging times (CATL recently introduced its latest development – a lithium-iron-phosphate LFP cell with 249 miles range and 10-minute fast charge). The Cobalt market is historically extremely unstable, shooting up to 80/lb, and cratering to 12/lb in months. Car makers are migrating to LFP at an alarming clip. Any company who wants to buy-out JRV will need to understand the payback horizon is 6 months max, after that the spike goes away.
I think the days for this stock actually are numbered. If you look at the 10Y, 5Y, 1Y, 6M, 3M, 1M, 5D, 1D .... all down. The horror show that is this stock continues. Why? Because we have less than a year left of money, and Cobalt is not expected to rebound until the 2 year mark at least. We already have just under 3 BILLION shares. To stay afloat for another year, JRV will need to get another 75M to just to stay afloat a tad longer, but at rates that are 1/3 of what they got last time (and the last time was a sh@t sh@w).
I believe most people understand this. All the folks who got out, did so. Leaving a few farmers and car salesmans with worthless paper.
