RE: Year high on high volumecondoguy, Sorry to hear of your bad BPR experience. So far mine has been quite the opposite. I've quintupled my money on some of my position. It's tough to match that kind of performance, especially in this market. I've taken only a small amount of profits though because I still believe the odds are good that they will have a deal. I'm just trusting my gut instinct here, as you have advised. The only time I sold was when I needed to meet a margin call on another position. If you want to make some of your BPR profits back but do not want to take a big risk again, you ought to consider waiting until they announce the lease-signing and then buying, and then selling after the ensuing hype show gets into high gear.
