BPYP.PR.A rate is 6.25%. Current Share Price $18.73 giving a yield about 11.25.     That's about "pari passu" to yields on BPO's prefers......... BUT  BPO's are 5yr reset !!!!    

While BPY vs BPO are "pari passu" in terms of ranking....  They are different in how the amounts of dividends are determined.      I think that's a very important factor that seems that the market if failing to factor in on BPO prefers.

All just my opinion/view/thinking/assuming/guessing
