DOD would give money to MP and Lynas to shore up what little REE separation is going on outside of China. That would be the first step. The next would be to find a better separation tech in N.A. Lets be perfectly clear. Unless Ucore proved to DOD that they could separate REEs down to oxides. They would never have gotten thay 4 million look see award contract. So I am very sure that RSX works to separate REEs. They have the commercial scale Demo plant running. has they have said many time, thousands hours fine tuning each stage and to see where it would break if it would break. I am reasonable sure DOD will fund the LA plant. The only question how much of it will they fund. The first stage of 2000 or all of it. The kind of conract they have can fund up to 100 million without a problem.
We know that Ucore is moving into the LA building this quarter, hopefully next month.
We know that Pat is expecting to sign offtake agreements with Japan magnet makers. Do we know sure this will happen? No, it is a maybe.
How long will Ucore take to test all of the sample that DOD? Unknown
We know that Ucore is billing DOD as testing goes, not all at once at the end of testing. That I got from Mark.
We know that Bob think scientists should do the work of engineers and lab techs to bring RSX to commercial scale.
Things i would like to see in a PR, has Ucore recieved the equipment and parts that have a long lead time in MFG and shipping. Any parts from China?
