Weekly Stats

Weekly StatsGold got a little shaken last week and TA suggests that it will be on descent for a while as the Greenback seems to get some hype. What could reverse the interest in gold is the investors quitting the stock markets bubble into bonds  and hopefully gold as the interest rates are starting to get attractive. If inflation is tamed, well those bonds might kill it for some time.

The biggest sellers were Anonymous (219K), TD Sec (76K) and Scotia (38K). The buyers were RBC (171K), ITG 84 (65K) and CIBC (41K).

Gold lost -3.2% and brought with it the seniors miners (-6.8%) and the juniors (-5.6%). Signal Gold closed the week at 20 cents on a low volume week but the bulk of the shares were sold around 19.5 cents. It's just too bad that we are trying to promote THE BEAST in these flat markets for the precious metals. If it continues like that, it seems that the sharks will get what they want.
