Analytics

AnalyticsI often take notice when I see a third party analysis of the prospects for a stock company that I hold in my ugly portfolio.
Lately, however, it is appearing that these analyses are more and more totally off the mark.,
I suspect that as the world we know it becomes more and more reliant on computer generated information and AI, the quality and supposedly accurate forecasts  become almost irrelevent.
Computers gather publicly available info then feed it to the next computer in the form of data where AI takes over and spit out some garbage.
I could cite many examples, but one that hits home would be the background info that computers have no way of assessing. In the case of KRR, that might involve prospects regarding nickel, and wether there has been recent hedging.
There is really no reliable substitute for having 'boots on the ground'. But, what company that publishes this stuff has the resources to properly investigate the finer details.
I'd put a lot more faith in an analysis by posters like Farquar for example than I would in what I now realize is often no more than computer generated garbage.
No more wasting time by reading analyses from third party experts.
