Under the leadership of President and CEO Tim Fernback, CELL is strategically positioning itself for success in the lithium sector. CELL, equipped with a team experienced in exploring metals for electric vehicles (EVs), is concentrating its efforts on lithium exploration in Nevada, leveraging its team's expertise.
CELL currently controls three promising lithium properties in Nevada, namely Texas Springs, Clayton Valley, and Volt Canyon.
The Texas Springs Property, spanning 2,500 hectares, has recently completed its initial exploration phase, including activities like soil sampling and geophysical surveys to evaluate surface lithium concentrations. This property is adjacent to Surge Battery Metals' (NILI.v) Nevada North Lithium Project, where recent findings have shown high lithium concentrations, reaching up to 8,070 parts per million.
The Clayton Valley Property, covering 2,300 acres, is located in proximity to North America's sole active lithium mine. This property holds promise for both brine and clay-hosted lithium deposits. CELL's exploration endeavors aim to discover additional lithium brine reservoirs.
The Volt Canyon Lithium Property introduces a unique focus, with an emphasis on alluvial sediments believed to originate from claystone deposits, featuring sediment-hosted lithium clay targets. Limited exploration has already yielded promising lithium concentrations in the area.
CELL is well-funded for upcoming exploration programs extending into 2024, with $9 million in cash and marketable securities including several million shares of NILI.v.
