The market has jumped on this because the Cu grades are actually quite high for this style of mineralization. Yes, this is still extremely early stage, but the hole of 184 m grading more than 0.8% Cu with a moly credit is very strong. The genetic style is a porphyry Cu-Mo deposit which are typically very large systems +500 m tonnes and low grade. The majority of operating porphyry Cu mines in BC for example have head grades of less than 0.4% Cu. Chilean projects are similar. These are large economy of scale operations.
The key for Hercules will be to outline major tonnes with grades in that 0.4% range or better. That first 185 m is still a long way still from that, but it's a very good start.
