I read it achieves a 5000 C° plasma plume, I can only Imagine how many of these they burnt up all the years they were designing, building, and testing them, and all the tweaking to get these to run perfectly, the associated costs must have been huge.
And look at where they are now, being installed on a Rio Tinto furnace. Quite the achievement.
