RE:RE:Guyana VP Says CGX Deepwater Port-NOT?

RE:RE:Guyana VP Says CGX Deepwater Port-NOT?Maybe CGX's definition of Deep Water is different that the Guyana government. When you see the VP of Guyana say such a port will cost over a $Billion, that kind of leaves CGX out of the mix. This article seems to indicate that Guyana is looking for big money to build a big port. For their president to make two trips to the UAE looking for investment money seems to indicate to me that they have moved past CGX's port.  The port Guyana seems to want appears along the lines of FEC's Puerto Bahia where is truly deep water and can load/unload two Suez Tanker/Container ships at once.

If it will cost more than a $Billion to build a new port. FEC's exisiting Colombian port that is expanding and building a pipeline to a refinery should be worth FEC's market cap as a stand alone sale.

BTW-For whatever reason, FEC stock is up over 25% since 10/03/23
