RE:Preferred DividendI have the FFN preferreds, and that is all I own. Its not like they are locked in, and we will know well ahead of time if the rates go down. I do not think Canada will be lowering rates soon, but they should be. There are also floating preferreds out there paying better than 10%, i just sold off ALA.pr.b today for a nice gain after collecting one quarterly div... sitting on half a million in cash, and not in a real rush to deploy. I can get over 11% on a 6 month term at MExico 's most reliable bank BBVA... so will move some money that direction hopefully, if the CAD moves back up vs the peso.
