SYH.v Strikes Uranium in Russell Lake Skyharbour Resources (SYH.v SYHBF) closed up 6% on high volume today after presenting at the Red Cloud Fall Mining Showcase, putting it up 46% YTD.
The uranium exploration company recently reported positive results from its inaugural drilling program at the Russell Lake Uranium Project in Northern Saskatchewan. The drilling program included three phases, and significant uranium mineralization was encountered in several holes.
Notably, hole RSL23-01 yielded one of the best results, with a 5.9-meter wide intercept of 0.151% U3O8 at a depth of 338.4 meters, including 1.0 meter of 0.366% U3O8 at 343.3 meters.
The drilling program expanded the known mineralized zones at the Grayling Zone to over one kilometer.
The success of this program has led to the planning of a follow-up winter drill program, which will consist of 4,000 to 5,000 meters of drilling. Skyharbour also anticipates continued drilling and exploration programs at its other projects throughout the Athabasca Basin in the coming year.
