Revealing RR's Vision: The Pocitos 1 Lithium Brine Project As highlighted in the video below, battery metals play a critical role in sustaining the electric vehicle (EV) industry. It also emphasizes the demand for these metals and Recharge Resources' (ticker: RR.c or RECHF) commitment to capitalizing on revenue-generating opportunities in the EV market.
RR's flagship asset, the Pocitos 1 Lithium Brine Project, strategically located in Argentina's Salta Province, spans an extensive 800-hectare area with easy road access.
The Pocitos 1 Project has undergone an extensive exploration program, involving surface sampling, trenching, TEM and MT geophysics, and the drilling of three wells, all of which have yielded promising results regarding brine flow.
Currently, RR is in the final stages of engineering work, with a primary focus on the production and assessment of lithium carbonate derived from this project.
The company has also revealed plans for three additional drilling operations at Pocitos 1, demonstrating their commitment to expanding their operations.
These additional drilling activities are contingent on the project's forthcoming resource estimate and MT survey results, with the aim of upgrading the resource classification from inferred to measured and subsequently to proven and probable.
Additionally, Recharge Resources intends to expand one of the wells to accommodate future production of lithium carbonate and lithium chloride.
Recharge Resources has secured an agreement to construct a 20,000-tonne lithium extraction plant at Pocitos 1, featuring the innovative Ekosolve Extraction Technology.
