WRLG's Breakthrough at the Rowan Gold Mine The Northwestern Ontario Red Lake Gold District is widely recognized for its rich gold deposits, boasting a production of over 30 million ounces of gold from high-grade regions. West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd, trading as WRLG.v or WRLGF, holds a prominent position in this district.
The company possesses the extensive Madsen Gold Mine, covering 47 square kilometres, and the Rowan Property, which spans 31 square kilometres.
According to a recent Mineral Resource Estimate, the Madsen Gold Mine holds 1.65 million ounces of gold in the indicated category and 0.37 million ounces in the inferred category.
The Inferred Mineral Resource for the Rowan Mine estimates the resources at 827,462 ounces however their recent successful drilling campaign could potentially increase this value as WRLG reported encouraging drill results from the property yesterday.
WRLG reported significant gold intercepts at Rowan and that it achieved the deepest drilling to date in the high-grade East Zone, reaching a depth of 490 meters from the surface.
The results suggest the potential for additional discoveries and expansion of high-grade gold resources, including:

Intersected 2.4m @ 10.92 g/t Au, from 562.35m to 564.75m, including 0.5m @ 48.30 g/t Au, from 564.25m to 564.75m; and 0.8m @ 19.82 g/t Au, from 147.2m to 148m.

Intersected 2.15m @ 11.07 g/t Au, from 443.60m to 445.75m, including 0.5m @ 45.90 g/t Au, from 444.70m to 445.20m.

Intersected 0.5m @ 38.15 g/t Au, from 229.75m to 230.25m.
The Rowan Mine Target area exhibits several sub-parallel gold-bearing veins that remain open along strike and at depth. The recent drilling program has affirmed the presence of gold mineralization at depth and along strike, with grades consistent with or higher than the existing Inferred Mineral Resource.
Consequently, WRLG intends to continue drilling to expand the high-grade mineral resource.
